Want to Know What’s Popular? Look for the Imitations!

I’ve been in the Promotional Products marketing landscape for close to 34 years. Over the years, I have seen many brands that have gone from just known to off the charts POPULAR! So what’s the most recent fad item????… The Stanley Cup!

The Stanley Cup has become a sensation that’s sweeping the internet. Influencers, TikTokers, and everyday individuals are all hopping on board, staying hydrated with these generously sized 40 oz mugs. It’s interesting to note that just a short while ago, the idea of a handle on a travel mug was often overlooked. However, times have changed, and now it’s an essential feature! If you take a brief visit to Amazon, you’ll discover countless individuals raving about the Stanley Cup, often dubbing it as “quite possibly the finest bottle available.” Beyond its remarkable ability to maintain ice in its solid state and keep beverages refreshingly cold for over 24 hours, there’s a burning question: Is this brand better than all the rest? A short answer is … no.

40 oz Drinkware from: Logomark, Moderne Glass, PCNA, ETS Express

Before Stanley emerged, there was Yeti – two brands that have achieved substantial popularity due to their exceptional performance, lasting durability, contemporary designs, adaptability, strong brand recognition, and endorsements from influencers and social media. Their popularity paved the way for a wave of imitations – products created in a similar fashion to their branded counterparts. Following the recent fervor for the Stanley Cup, a multitude of 40 oz tumblers with handles entered the scene. These tumblers, like their distinguished counterparts, boast double-walled stainless steel construction, enhanced by copper vacuum insulation. They efficiently keep iced beverages refreshingly chilled for extended periods. Just like their counterparts, these tumblers are weighty when filled with liquid, making them a substantial carry, much like others in the same category!

The Denali – Matte Navy

A quick browse of my drinkware cabinet shows a trail of Yeti knock offs and now my very own DBG imprinted Stanley knock off. Am a I a fan? Surprisingly I am. Having always carried a more portable 20oz tumbler (with coffee or sparkling water), in recent months I’ve tested the waters of a 40 oz carry. My sparkling water dispensed in the pre dawn hour actually stays chilled throughout my work day. My 40 ouncer and I have become quite the duo.

Thinking of joining the 40 oz travel mug rage? Let me help! If you just have to have the Stanley brand 40 oz mug – we can offer it with a lasered or silkscreened logo (stock coming in early-mid September). If you can’t wait to put your logo or message on a 40 ouncer, I have stock in similar products that can ship immediately. Either way – join the 40 oz craze with a cool new mug!
